Marble tiles

Marble is made from limestone. At high temperatures and pressures, the crystals in the shells that formed limestone break down and re-crystallize. The rock that is produced is called marble. Marble is a valuable rock for construction and decoration. It can be polished to produce an attractive mottled surface. Marble, like limestone is still calcium carbonate and reacts chemically in the same way as limestone.
